SS550 : 2020 is the latest Singapore Standard revised in 2020 for all elevators to comply with. It is a set of documents published by BCA setting out system specifications and expected performances to increase safety of both users and elevator maintenance personnel.

EN 81-41 : 2010 is the latest European Standard for platform lifts also recognized by BCA. All vertical platform lifts installed in Singapore have to comply with this standard.
